Responsible for contractual assistance in support of Northrop Grumman, Mission Systems, Global Supply Chain. The selected candidate will review, analyze, interpret, and draft subcontract documents/strategic agreements, and liaise with
the Law Department and Programs for review and approval of unusual or non-standard terms and conditions. Position will require complex negotiations with our strategic suppliers to establish purchase order/subcontract terms and conditions
and other contractual documents as required. Position responsibility will also include the development of contractual language and clauses necessary for unusual services and support obtaining concurrence of In-House Legal Counsel. Individual will also support workforce development efforts through formal and informal training, and through leadership, mentoring, and assisting buyers and subcontract administrators to grow employee proficiencies with contract clauses, risk identification, and mitigation strategies.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years supply chain, business management and/or legal experience, or 4 years supply chain, business management and/or legal experience with Masters.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years supply chain, business management and/or legal experience, or 8 years supply chain, business management and/or legal experience with Masters. This position requires the ability to balance and influence multiple competing priorities and individuals. A strong commitment and collaborative approach is paramount. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as project management, analytical, planning, presentation and human relations’ skills are required. Demonstrated experience in the analysis and negotiation of complex contractual terms and conditions, problem solving,
and interpersonal skills
J.D. Degree from an ABA-approved law school or experience in a related position.
Government contracting experience with the proven ability to accurately translate complex contractual issues into easily understood summaries and solutions.
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS), United States Code (U.S.C), and associated U.S. Regulations.
Demonstrated experience drafting complex contractual documents, including Memoranda of Understanding, Terms and Conditions, Non-Disclosure Agreements, IP Licensing Agreements, and Long Term Supply/Pricing Agreements.
