Configuration Management Lead

Key Role:

Provide the guidance needed to support the software development life cycle. Protect the integrity of a project’s delivered products from code and hardware to technical documentation by leveraging modern configuration, application, and life cycle management tools and processes to maintain version control for software code, packages, libraries, containers, virtual machines, and associated hardware, releases, and documents. Establish a configuration management program, analyze a CM plan, facilitate configuration control boards, and establish the configuration management library.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with leading configuration management teams

-Experience with knowledge management applications

-Experience in leading or assisting with the standup of a CM program, including analyzing processes and procedures for HW, SW, and documentation

-Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of the management principles, procedures, and processes needed to support a fully functioning HW, SW, or Doc CM effort

-Ability to be a motivated self-starter, including determining day-to-day direction and overseeing junior staff

-Ability to foster excellent rapport with clients and team members

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
