Lead ITSM Expert / PM
*THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD*
Provide IT process improvement support services for the Presidential Information Technology Community (PITC) in support of the White House Information Technology (WHIT) mission. This is a fast-paced and high-profile position where service demands are rigorous with rapid and frequent priority adjustments that are required to meet situational needs of staff members.
Support short-notice requirements for commissions and committees that are created to address various issues.
Work across all ITSM Lifecycle domains within WHIT to define processes, build and document these processes, work with process owners to implement, and train all process participants on their role.
Implementation, adjustment and maintenance of actionable alerts for the Operations Center to proactively alert team members to potential service interruptions in a preventative manner to restore services in a timely manner.
Document all processes in Confluence or other government-directed document repositories.
Lead informational ITIL-based training sessions when requested by the government.
Providing superior technical support services in support of the WHIT mission by providing ITIL 2011 framework (or newer) expertise.
As the PM, provide a unified, comprehensive, proactive, strategic business partner approach to monitor, control and manage the quality of all services provided to the WHIT.
Facilitate communication, ensure the quality of results, and report progress measures in meeting task objectives.
Develop and maintain processes to capture, analyze and present management information so that the Government and contractor personnel develop a common and consistent understanding of evolving workloads, priority assignments, required service levels, resource limitations and process improvement options.
Provide oversight, control, monitoring and reporting for the services required, including development of strategies and processes to meet requirements in a multi-vendor environment. Program management processes and procedures shall include full integration and coordination of interdependent services to provide seamless service with optimized resource utilization and maximum consistency, quality and efficiency.
5 years of management experience, and 5 years of ITIL experience
Keen understanding of the development and implementation of business processes related to IT service delivery
